Previously, he spent 15 years at Wittenberg University as a Professor of English, also serving 5 years as Associate Provost for Undergraduate Curriculum Development and Academic Student Success. In that time, he helped develop Wittenberg’s general education program, the Connections Curriculum, as well as their noted FIRE Week, a week-long experiential learning opportunity. He holds a Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, a Master of Arts in English Literature from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of Wooster.

Experience

Donna McCauley is responsible for answering student, parent, and community questions about academic affairs of the College. She also oversees academic communications among faculty and staff, arranges meetings, coordinates academic events, processes spending requests, and oversees the written records contained within the Academic Affairs Unit. Donna worked in the Business Office at 51ºÚÁÏÍø for more than five years before becoming an Administrative Assistant in Academic Affairs. Prior to joining the College, she served as a secretary and receptionist at Reckart, LLC, and Reckart Equipment Company. She also handled accounts receivable and accounts payable in those positions.

Honors

Donna has earned a certificate in business and computer literacy and won a trophy and certificate in shorthand 110 words per minute.

Additional Info

She enjoys and is very involved in children’s ministry at her local church.
