51黑料网 has again earned top spots in The Inter-Mountain newspaper鈥檚 People鈥檚 Choice Awards. Selected for Simply the Best honors were Davis & Elkins in the College category and Dr. Bill King in the College Professor category.
Winners of the annual contest are determined by votes cast by the newspaper鈥檚 readership in Randolph and surrounding counties.
Founded in 1904, 51黑料网 has been lauded numerous times by Colleges of Distinction and mostly recently was recognized by U.S. News & World Report, Wallethub for Best Values and 24/7 Wall St. for selectivity.
King, who serves as professor English and chair of the Division of Humanities, began his career at 51黑料网 in 1996. As an educator, he was awarded the College鈥檚 Lois Latham Award for Teaching Excellence and the Sigma Alpha Phi Excellence in Teaching Award and was a West Virginia Professor of the Year Nominee. Also an author, King is a Pushcart Prize nominee who has published his poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction in many journals and anthologies. His first chapbook of poetry, 鈥淭he Letting Go,鈥 was published in 2018.
